David Resler recently retired from Nomura Securities International, Inc., where for the better part of the past 27 years he served as that firm's Chief Economist. In a 2002 Wall Street Journal news story, Jon Hilsenrath dubbed Dr. Resler the "top dog" for his long-term forecasting record. On this site, I intend to post on this web site and in my blogs, periodic musings about a wide range of economic and policy matters.
